On November 9th, the Aquila ran a story in the Opinions section that was intended to raise awareness about a current social action effort called “woke.”  It was not intended to target, demean, or devalue any individuals or any groups.  We regret and acknowledge that neither the tone nor the alternative format made the intended point of the article clear.
