Aquila

Justyna Skowronski
Justyna Skowronski is a Senior at Carl Sandburg High School. In addition to taking part in Sandburg's Aquila, she is also in Student Council, Yearbook, Philharmonic Orchestra, First Class, Junior Leaders, Swim Guard, and Girls Cross Country. This is her second year as a staff writer for the Aquila, and she plans on taking her interest in writing further, and studying journalism in college. Outside of school activities, Justyna's hobbies and commitments include various types of dance, skiing, a church music group, youth group, and Polish school. One interesting fact about Justyna is that she is the second oldest of ten in her family. In the future, she aspires to attend college to become a journalist or a junior high English teacher. She hopes that Sandburg's Aquila can inspire others to express their creativity in writing, but also to enjoy what's written and in print, during the progressive turn to technological resources in today's society.
